We was awarded with two lovely glass trophies. One for the best village hostel in ireland2009
and the second for the best overall IHH hostel in ireland for 2009.
We are very proud and pleased that so many of you did vote and that we could provide and warm and friendly

hi to all those who visit this site. Here’s a little info on up and coming gigs in Doolin.
Clare favourite’s Bushplant, will be bringing there ecclectic style of music, to mcganns pub on may 1st, and offers to be a very vibrant evening ,so come down and shake, Doolin style.
Also in Mcganns 6th may We have visitors from Switzerland called Baum strumming there tunes to the beat of the drum. A Three piece that has toured with Van Morrison and the John Butler trio. I think this one is not to be missed.

The aille river hostel has spent most of the winter under renovation and as of the 6th march we’ve opened the doors to the 2009 season. We hope that all those who have stayed here before will come back to see the recent improvements and for those who wish to visit for the first time, welcome!
